Rebuildable Autos
If you need a new car but you're suffering from recession blues, consider finding rebuildable autos and making your own. Most rebuildable autos are going to be vehicles with a salvage or junk title. Salvage titles have a bad reputation, but really, they're just rebuildable autos that the insurance company thinks would cost more to repair than the car is actually worth. But that doesn't mean you should shy away from salvage cars. They're not useless, the insurance company just doesn't want to deal with the hassle of repairing it. But salvage cars aren't useless, they're perfect opportunities for rebuildable autos!
You can find salvage cars and other rebuildable autos at salvage auctions. You can save money by bidding on vehicles most people have rejected as junk and useless. The cars are usually sold as is, which means it'll be your responsibility to move the vehicle once the auction ends, whether the engine works or not. So be prepared with equipment and a tow-truck number on hand. You'll have the opportunity to inspect all of the rebuildable autos before the start of the auction. If you're inexperienced with cars, consider bringing along a mechanic friend or someone who has prior experience. You may need to register in advance for the auction and provide payment at the end. Do some research on finding rebuildable auto auctions in your area.
